ATLANTA, GA--(Marketwire - August 20, 2009) - LIGATT Security International (PINKSHEETS: [ LGTT ]) CEO, Gregory Evans, announced that the company has had an unprecedented amount of exposure, web traffic and unique website visitors as the result of its national media campaign which launched in July. Appearing on numerous radio, prime time news and talk shows, Evans has been able to create a national buzz about all LIGATT Security products and services. In addition to saturating the national market with news stations such as Fox, NBC and CBS, Evans has also made his mark throughout the Hispanic community when he and LIGATT's Cyber Crime Defense Card were featured on Univision, the largest Hispanic television network, throughout each Hispanic community ranging from San Diego, California to Miami, Florida.

Leaving no stone unturned, Evans has been interviewed in regards to all LIGATT products across a broad spectrum that includes, but is not limited to cyber security and identity theft as they pertain to fields such entertainment, health care, legal and philanthropy. In a recent interview with Rolling Out magazine, Evans addressed everything from identity theft to music studio security. With a 19 city distribution span and a weekly printing volume of 1.5 million magazines, Evans wanted to ensure that current and upcoming music artists are aware of the cyber crimes that may have a negative impact on their music careers, in addition to providing preventative tips to avoid becoming victims of music related cyber crimes. This feature issue hits stands on Friday, August 21, 2009 with a webisode series to follow next week.

"My public relations team and I made it our personal goal to make sure that we develop and cultivate the necessary awareness needed to avoid, cope with and overcome all obstacles associated with cyber crime activity, which is one of the main reasons we developed the world's first and only cyber crime defense card," says Evans.

Evans is also planning a national cyber bullying campaign, beginning with targeting public school systems in the Southwest, bringing awareness and resources to school system administrators, faculty, parents and students. "With four in ten children being victims of cyber bullying, I believe it is important to discuss the preventative measures needed to protect students from becoming victims or statistics as has occurred in several high-profile cyber bullying cases that unfortunately resulted in suicide," says Evans.

Evans' radio tour stops include stations in Georgia, New York, Pennsylvania, Michigan, Illinois, Florida, Texas, Alabama and California. The tour included TechWatch Radio, Computer Talk with Dave Mason, 103.3 Morning Beat with Charlamagne, Z107.5 with Fox and Tina, WKXK with Nic Allen, WLCS 98.3, Magic 97 with Jay Fisher and nationally syndicated Tom Joyner and Michael Baisden.

Recently, Evans will also be featured as an expert in an upcoming issue of Computerworld magazine, a vital and respected source of news, business and technology information for IT executives and professionals. In regards to IT Forensics, which has been ranked as the No. 1 "coolest" job in information security by the SANS Institute, Evans discussed what IT Forensics includes, where the IT Forensics demand is, what certifications are needed and the type of individuals who best fit this career field.

Evans is an outstanding example of what it means to have a business make a community their focal point. Yesterday, Evans donated Jonas Brothers and WNBA Philips Arena suite tickets to the Murphy Family ([ www.murphyhouseproject.com ]) in McDonough, GA. The Murphy's, already the parents of four, have opened up their home to 23 children with special needs since 1983. Their children have various disabilities, including Down Syndrome, autism, and heart defects.

"It isn't every day that I am able to directly work in the community with citizens who are true heroes. This past trip to the Murphy Family home was about more than business, it was a chance for me to give back to a deserving family, and I am grateful for the opportunity to meet such remarkable people who truly are the best at what they do. Myself and LIGATT are excited to build a relationship with the Murphy Family and we will continue to strive and stay involved in the community to help touch the lives of others," said Evans.
