China Wind Power International Corp. Retains Leading Investor Relations Firm

 TORONTO, Aug. 5 /CNW/ - China Wind Power International Corp. (TSX-V: CNW) ("China Wind" or the "Company"), today announced that it has retained The Equicom Group Inc. ("Equicom") to provide the Company with strategic investor relations and financial communications services. Under the terms of the agreement, China Wind will pay Equicom a monthly retainer fee of $6,500.00 for select strategic communications services. The initial contract term is 12 months and commences immediately. Neither Equicom nor any of its principals have an ownership interest, directly or indirectly, in China Wind or its securities, and China Wind has not granted Equicom or its principals any right to acquire such an interest. The Company indirectly holds the exclusive rights for wind energy development in Du Mon County, a favourable location for wind power generation.
