 TORONTO, May 29 /CNW/ - The Aberdeen SCOTS Trust (TSX: SCO.UN), an investment trust traded on the Toronto Stock Exchange, announced today that its units have been delisted as at the close of business. This action resulted from the termination of the Trust, pursuant to unitholder approval obtained on April 14, 2009 in accordance with the terms of the trust agreement of the Trust, and the redemption of all of the issued and outstanding Trust units on May 29, 2009. Pursuant to the trust agreement, the Investment Manager has converted the assets of the Trust to cash and the net assets of the Trust will be distributed to unitholders as soon as possible, after making adequate provisions for all of the Trust's liabilities and upon completion of the Trust's final audit.
