VANCOUVER, BRITISH COLUMBIA--(Marketwire - Jan. 19, 2009) - Canfor Corporation (TSX:CFP) announced today that due to the continued poor softwood lumber markets, it will be taking a one week curtailment at its Houston, Radium, Vavenby, Quesnel and Rustad sawmills commencing January 26, 2009. This decision will reduce Canfor's annualized lumber production by approximately 29 million board feet.
