A mother-daughter team, Lisa and Erica Macias, have launched a portable privacy screen called "Private Eye" to address the lack of privacy in open office environments. The product, which can be set up in seconds, is designed to reduce distractions and increase productivity by creating a private workspace. The idea for Private Eye came from Lisa's experience working in an open office and her subsequent need for a solution to the constant interruptions and lack of privacy. The Macias duo successfully funded their project through a Kickstarter campaign, raising over $100,000, and are now working to bring Private Eye to market, with plans to expand into other privacy solutions for various settings.
