CanAsia Appoints New CEO and CTO

CALGARY, ALBERTA--(Marketwire - March 21, 2012) - CanAsia Financial Inc. ("CanAsia") (TSX VENTURE:CNA) announces the appointments of Dr. Woo-Young Kim as Chief Executive Officer and Chief Technology Officer of CanAsia, effective March 15, 2012.

Dr. Kim has more than 12 years of senior management experience in both private and public companies. He was the Chief Technology Officer of Hyundai LCD Ltd. of Korea and Luxell Technologies Inc., a TSX company in Ontario. He also acts as technical advisor to Samsung Mobile Display. His track record in the Mobile Display industry is impressive, from making one of the first Hyundai's OLED for mobile phone over a decade ago to assisting Samsung Mobile Display and other Korean companies in their mobile, 3D and lighting products using OLED, LCD and LED. He received his Ph.D. from Purdue University of USA. He has professorships at Korea's Hoseo University and Canada's McMaster University. Dr. Kim has been a Director of CanAsia since May, 2011. He resides in Ontario with his wife and two children.

CanAsia continues to develop new models of Hyundai mobile phones and seeks revolutionary mobile technologies, business expertise and capital to support its growth.
