BlackRock Employees to Mentor Transitioning Veterans Through American Corporate Partners Program
NEW YORK--([ BUSINESS WIRE ])--BlackRock, Inc. (NYSE:BLK) today announced that it will work with American Corporate Partners (aACPa), as part of a nationwide career mentoring program for Iraq and Afghanistan veterans who are transitioning into civilian careers.

ACP, a New York-based nonprofit, provides a unique career development opportunity for veterans. The program is open to those who have served on active duty since 2001, including National Guardsmen and Reservists. ACP gives priority to those with service-connected disabilities and welcomes applications from spouses of service members severely wounded or killed in action.
Approximately 50 BlackRock professionals from around the country will be matched in one-on-one, yearlong mentorships with veterans in New York, San Francisco, and the Philadelphia area. BlackRock also will make a financial contribution to ACP in support of its efforts.
