PARIS, June 20, 2011 /PRNewswire/ -- PARIS AIR SHOW-- Hamilton Sundstrand Corporation, a subsidiary of United Technologies Corp. (NYSE: [ UTX ]), was recently recognized by British Airways as a top supplier for On-Site Support (OSS). British Airways named Hamilton Sundstrand as one of its best suppliers in 2010, after extending its OSS agreement an additional seven years – to run through mid-2019.

One of only two suppliers to receive this distinction, Hamilton Sundstrand was selected based on an annual performance review by British Airways, which evaluated delivery performance, quality performance, product reliability, cost reduction, quality incidents, and payment performance.

Hamilton Sundstrand's OSS agreement with British Airways covers electric power system and pneumatic system products on the airline's fleet of more than 235 large commercial aircraft.
