HARTFORD, Conn.--([ BUSINESS WIRE ])--The Phoenix Companies, Inc. (NYSE:PNX) today announced that its 2011 Annual Meeting of Shareholders will be broadcast live on the companya�s Web site, [ www.phoenixwm.com ] in the Investor Relations section. Presentations at the meeting will include a review of the companya�s business and strategy.

The meeting will take place at the companya�s offices at One American Row, Hartford, Conn., on May 17, 2011, beginning at 10 a.m., Eastern time. The record date for determining shareholders eligible to vote at the meeting was March 18, 2011.

A replay of the meeting will be available on the Web site beginning later that day and will remain on the site until at least May 31, 2011.
