MBAC Announces Closing of Bought Deal Financing and Exercise of Underwriters Option

MBAC Fertilizer Corp. ("MBAC" or the "Company") (TSX:MBC) is pleased to announce that it has successfully completed its previously announced bought deal financing (the "Offering"), including the exercise of the full over-allotment option, for aggregate gross proceeds to MBAC of C$42,423,500. A syndicate of underwriters led by Canaccord Genuity Corp. and including BMO Nesbitt Burns Inc., Wellington West Capital Markets Inc. and GMP Securities L.P., purchased a total of 13,685,000 common shares of MBAC at a price of C$3.10 per common share.
The net proceeds of the Offering are intended to be used by the Company for the advancement of the Itafós expansion project and for the exploration of the Company's Santana project in Brazil.
