CALGARY, Feb. 22 /CNW/ - EmberClear (TSXV: EMB) announced today that Mr. Geoff Rhoads and Mr. Winston Guillory are leaving the Company's board of directors, effective immediately. With the change in business focus towards energy, the two directors with strong information technology backgrounds have chosen to resign and pursue other interests.
"Mr. Rhoads has been a long time contributor to the company as a director and investor. Mr. Guillory joined the board at a time when crucial strategic decisions were required regarding the Company's digital media efforts," stated Mr. Albert Lin, Chairman of the Board of EmberClear. "One of the greatest challenges any director may face is the need for a drastic change in the business. Both directors have been champions on behalf of our shareholders with their ability to embrace the facts and accept the logical conclusions no matter how difficult. Mr. Rhoads expects to continue his many entrepreneurial interests while based in Portland, Oregon. Mr. Winston Guillory has recently been appointed as CEO of GeoSentric by its Board of Directors and continues to reside in Dallas, Texas.
