NEW YORK--([ BUSINESS WIRE ])--Western Asset Global Partners Income Fund Inc. (NYSE: GDF) announced today the results of the votes cast at the Funda™s annual meeting of shareholders held on December 10, 2010.

Daniel P. Cronin and Dr. Riordan Roett were elected as Class I Directors of the Fund by shareholders of the Funda™s common stock to hold office until the annual meeting of shareholders in the year 2013 or thereafter when respective successors are duly elected and qualified.
