Constellation NewEnergy to Host Webinar on Electric Competition and the End of Pennsylvania Electric Rate Caps
BALTIMORE--([ BUSINESS WIRE ])--With less than 30 days until rate caps expire throughout Pennsylvania,Constellation NewEnergy, a subsidiary of Constellation Energy (NYSE: CEG), will host a webinar at 11 a.m. on Dec. 7, 2010 to brief news reporters on the changes ahead for businesses and other consumers in the competitive energy marketplace. Speakers include:
- Pennsylvania Public Utility Commissioner Robert F. Powelson
- David Fein, vice president of Energy Policy for Constellation Energy
- Representatives from PECO Energy, Metropolitan Edison Company (Met-Ed) and Pennsylvania Electric Company (Penelec).
Rate caps will expire in the PECO, Met-Ed, Allegheny Energy and Penelec service territories beginning Jan. 1, 2011.
