Prudential Financial annual golf outing raises more than $100,000 for youth hockey in Newark

NEWARK, N.J.--([ BUSINESS WIRE ])--Prudential Financial, Inc. (NYSE: PRU) today announced that it raised $102,000 during its recent Annual Charity Golf Outing at the Farmstead Golf and Country Club in Lafayette, New Jersey. Proceeds from the event will benefit Hockey in Newark, Inc., a not-for-profit, Newark, New Jersey-based organization that introduces the Citya™s youth to hockey.

Founded in 2003, Hockey in Newark, Inc. started as a feeder source to Newarka™s East Side High, the only urban high school in the state with an ice hockey program.
