Ventas Charitable Foundation Pledges $50,000 to The Parklands of Floyds Fork in Louisville, Kentucky

CHICAGO--([ BUSINESS WIRE ])--Ventas, Inc. (NYSE:VTR) (aVentasa or the aCompanya) announced today that the Ventas Charitable Foundation has pledged $50,000 towards The Parklands of Floyds Fork project in Louisville, Kentucky.

The Parklands will open in phases beginning in 2011 with completion anticipated for 2015. Once completed, The Parklands of Floyds Fork will be a world-class integrated public parks system totaling nearly 4,000 acres of land and connected by a 20-mile recreational trail, a scenic park drive and 100 miles of new hiking, biking and equestrian trails located in eastern and southern Louisville, along Floyds Fork Creek, a tributary of the Salt River. The Parklands is one of the nationa™s largest and most ambitious metropolitan parks projects.
