OMAHA, Neb.--([ BUSINESS WIRE ])--TD Bank, Americaa™s Most Convenient Bank®, and TD AMERITRADE Holding Corporation (NASDAQ: AMTD) today announced that, together, the companies raised more than $1 million for the Special Olympics and 2010 Special Olympics National Games through the second annual aBe a FAN!a campaign.

TD Bank and TD AMERITRADE surpassed their original $1 million goal through a combination of in-store donations, wristband sales at TD Bank store locations, and internal fundraising at both TD Bank and TD AMERITRADE. The fundraising effort took place throughout the summer. So far this year, more than 2,600 associates from both companies have pledged their time to volunteer at Special Olympics events across the country.
