SearchMedia Announces Reporting Date for First Quarter 2010 Preliminary Unaudited Financial Results

SHANGHAI, CHINA--(Marketwire - May 18, 2010) - SearchMedia Holdings Limited ("SearchMedia" or the "Company") (NYSE Amex: [ IDI ]) (NYSE Amex: [ IDI.WS ]), one of China's leading nationwide multi-platform media companies, announced today that it intends to report preliminary unaudited financial results for the first quarter of 2010 on Monday, May 24, 2010 after the market close. The Company will hold a conference call on Tuesday, May 25, 2010 at 8:30am ET. Conference call information will be provided in the Company's press release issued on Monday, May 24, 2010.

In addition, the Company has filed an extension for the filing of its quarterly report on Form 10-Q for the quarter ended March 31, 2010. The Form 12b-25 was filed in order to provide the Company with additional time to complete its financial review for the first quarter 2010.
