The Morgan Stanley China A Share Fund, Inc. Declares Year-End Dividend

NEW YORK--([ BUSINESS WIRE ])--The Morgan Stanley China A Share Fund, Inc. (NYSE: CAF) declared today a year-end dividend of $2.7582 per share of short-term capital gains and $1.5045 per share of long-term capital gains.

The Morgan Stanley China A Share Fund, Inc. (the "Fund"), advised by Morgan Stanley Investment Management Inc., is a closed-end management investment company seeking to achieve capital growth through investments primarily in A-Shares of Chinese companies listed on the Shanghai and Shenzhen Stock Exchanges.

In order to comply with the requirements of Section 19 of the Investment Company Act of 1940, The Fund will provide its shareholders of record on the record date with a Section 19 Notice disclosing the sources of its dividend payment when a distribution includes anything other than net investment income.
