Kunekt Files New National Phase Patent Application

NEVADA, Dec. 18 /PRNewswire-FirstCall/ - Kunekt Corporation (OTCBB: KNKT) announced that the Company has filed a New National Phase Patent Application in Canada, based on the Company's International Patent Application # PCT/US2008/006645, entitled "Method And System For Processing Financial Transactions Using Multiple Financial Accounts."

Based upon management's discussions with Company's patent counsel, management has concluded that it is fairly reasonable to assume that we will be successful in our efforts to patent our invention in Canada and therefore proceeded with the application. Management has identified a number of PCT Contracting States in which the Company will file patent applications prior to the filing deadlines for these countries on December 30, 2009.

About Kunekt Corporation

Kunekt plans to launch the KUNEKT(R) Card - the only credit card in the World to combine a cardholder's entire credit on one card. Our patent-pending technology is not available with any other card, including Visa(R), MasterCard(R), American Express(R) and Discover(R). Some of our security features are an industry first and will provide our customers safety and peace of mind.

The KUNEKT Card automatically determines which of the cardholder's connected credit cards has enough available credit to pay for their purchase, or will combine credit from multiple connected cards for a single purchase. A KUNEKT Card cardholder's purchasing power is limited by the total of all of their connected cards' limits - not by the limit on a single card. These unique features nearly eliminate the risk of a transaction being declined.
