TORONTO, Dec. 9 /CNW/ - TriNorth Capital Inc. ("TriNorth") (TSX.V: TRT) announces that John Anderson, CA has been appointed as the Company's new Chief Financial Officer.

Mr. Anderson was the Chief Financial Officer of Impax Energy Services Income Trust, an income trust, until May 2009. Mr. Anderson has also been the Chief Financial Officer of Tailwind Financial Inc., a special acquisition company, since April 2007, and Chief Executive Officer and Chief Financial Officer of LPBP Inc., since May 2004.

He was the Chief Financial Officer of The T. Eaton Company Limited and was also a partner with Ernst & Young LLP for more than 24 years, the last 14 years as Partner. Mr. Anderson was Chairman of the Board of Directors of Ridley College. Mr. Anderson holds a Bachelor of Arts degree from the University of Toronto and is a chartered accountant in Canada.

Mr. Anderson replaces Mr. Matthew Hoang as CFO. The Board and management would like to thank Mr. Hoang for his contributions to TriNorth while serving as CFO.
