LIGATT Security International Announces New Board Member

ATLANTA, GA--(Marketwire - December 8, 2009) - LIGATT Security International (PINKSHEETS: [ LGTT ]) announces the appointment of Stacy L. Merrell to its Board of Directors, effective immediately.

Merrell worked for Bell Helicopter Textron, Inc. for 11 years. During her tenor at Bell, Merrell led several projects with budgets exceeding $50 million and supervised hundreds of employees. She also held a Top Secret Security Clearance with the government. Following her employment at Bell, Merrell started her own consulting firm M.I.H. (Make It Happen) Management and Consulting in April 2009. She has used her corporate background to create strategy plans for high profile clients, start-up non-profit organizations and national programs.

Merrell holds a M.B.A. with a concentration in Project Management from The University of Texas at Dallas and a B.S. in Industrial Engineering from Florida A&M University. She holds a certification in Project Management, Six Sigma Green Belt and is a trained Six Sigma Black Belt.
