Big W announces major update to "Change of Mind" returns policy

Big W has announced a significant update to its change-of-mind returns policy, effective from August 18, 2023. The new policy extends the return period for change-of-mind purchases from 28 days to 60 days, providing customers with more flexibility. This change applies to all products except for items like underwear, earrings, cosmetics, and face masks, which remain non-returnable for hygiene reasons. Additionally, Big W has introduced a new fee for returns by mail, charging $5.95 for the return of items purchased online, although in-store returns remain free. This policy aims to enhance customer satisfaction by offering a more generous return window while managing the costs associated with returns.
