French seat manufacturer Expliseat has secured €10 million in a Series B funding round to expand its market presence and enhance its product offerings, particularly targeting the premium segment of the aircraft seating market. The company, known for its lightweight and eco-friendly seats, plans to use the new funds to accelerate the development of its TiSeat model, which is designed for long-haul flights and aims to offer enhanced comfort and sustainability. The investment round was led by Otium Capital, with participation from existing investors such as Innovacom and BPI France, reflecting strong confidence in Expliseat's growth potential and strategic direction.
