  • The Department of Economic Affairs amended Rule 8 of the Securities Contracts (Regulation) Rules, 1957, to enhance ease of doing business for brokers.

The Finance Ministry of India has introduced amendments to the Securities Contracts (Regulation) Rules, 1957, aimed at enhancing the ease of doing business for stock brokers. These modifications are part of broader efforts to streamline regulations and foster a more conducive environment for financial market participants.
