Bargain Hunt expert pleads guilty to terror financing-related offences

Charles Hanson, a well-known expert from the BBC's "Bargain Hunt," has pleaded guilty to a domestic abuse charge at Derby Crown Court. The 45-year-old auctioneer admitted to assaulting his wife, Rebecca Ludlam, during an incident at their home in June 2023. Hanson, who also appears on "Antiques Road Trip," was granted unconditional bail and is scheduled for sentencing on January 10, 2024. The court heard that the assault involved Hanson pushing his wife, causing her to hit her head. Despite the guilty plea, Hanson's defense argued that the incident was out of character and occurred during a stressful period.
