A star from the BBC's "Bargain Hunt," Charles Hanson, has pleaded not guilty to charges of assault and coercive behavior against his wife, Rebecca Ludlam, at Derby Crown Court. The incidents allegedly occurred between May 2015 and June 2023. Hanson, who also appears on other TV shows like "Flog It!" and "Antiques Road Trip," was released on unconditional bail and is scheduled for a trial starting January 10, 2024. He has denied all seven charges, which include two counts of assault by beating, one count of controlling and coercive behavior, and two counts of assault occasioning actual bodily harm.
