Arkansas small business recognized by Walmart on National Small Business Month

  • This month is National Small Business Month, which makes it a perfect time for workers at Fire and Smoke Society to celebrate what they've been doing nationally from right here in the Natural State.

A small business from Arkansas, called "The Cookie Dough Cafe," was recognized by Walmart as part of their Open Call event, which celebrates U.S. manufacturing and products. The Cookie Dough Cafe, founded by Kristen and Todd Graves in 2011, offers edible cookie dough in various flavors and was one of the 700 businesses that participated in the event. Walmart's recognition has provided the business with an opportunity to expand its reach and potentially secure a deal with the retail giant, showcasing the impact of such events on small businesses.
