  • JPMorgan Chase Chief Operating Officer Jenn Piepszak said the bank was making some changes to its Diversity, Equity and Inclusion programs and the language it uses to describe them in an effort to keep up with the market and changes in regulations,

JPMorgan Chase & Co. has made adjustments to its diversity, equity, and inclusion (DEI) programs in response to recent legal and political challenges, according to an internal memo dated March 21, 2025. The memo, penned by the bank's Chief Diversity Officer, emphasizes that while the terminology and some practices are changing, the commitment to fostering an inclusive environment remains strong. The changes include revising language in job postings and internal communications to be more inclusive and less specific about demographic targets, aiming to comply with emerging legal standards while still promoting diversity.
