Mike Lindell, the CEO of MyPillow, is being sued by a cash advance company, United Capital Funding, for allegedly refusing to repay a $1.5 million loan. The lawsuit claims that Lindell used the funds for his legal defense in a defamation lawsuit filed by Dominion Voting Systems, which accuses him of spreading false information about the 2020 election. According to the complaint, Lindell signed a promissory note in January 2023, agreeing to repay the loan with interest by June 2023, but has since failed to make any payments. The company is now seeking the full repayment of the loan plus interest, legal fees, and costs. Lindell has publicly stated that he is facing financial difficulties due to multiple legal battles and has suggested that his refusal to pay might be linked to his ongoing disputes with Dominion.
