Singapore Post has appointed the CFO of its Australia business as group finance chief, the company said on Sunday, a week after dismissing its CFO and two senior executives for mishandling a whistleblower report.

Singapore Post (SingPost) has appointed a new Chief Financial Officer (CFO), Ms. Neo Su Yin, as part of an executive overhaul following a whistleblower report. This report, which surfaced in January, highlighted issues concerning the company's financial reporting and governance. Ms. Neo, who previously served as the group CFO at Sembcorp Industries, will replace Ms. Sherry Liu, who has been acting CFO since the departure of the former CFO, Mr. Vincent Phang, in March. The changes come amidst efforts to strengthen SingPost's corporate governance and financial oversight. Additionally, the company has been dealing with the fallout from the report, which led to the suspension of several employees and the initiation of an independent investigation. The overhaul aims to restore investor confidence and ensure compliance with regulatory standards.
