Chairman and Chief Executive Officer Don Brandt in presenting the companyas 2012 Diverse Supplier Excellence Awards to five businesses that have built a record of outstanding performance in working with APS and its customers. The companies were recognized Thursday at the third annual luncheon celebrating business diversity in the community, along with the 20^th anniversary of the companyas Supplier Diversity and Development program.

The five award-winning diverse suppliers were recognized in categories that fit with APSas core values:

• Value-Added Partnership: Bunnyas Inc, a general engineering and construction firm. The company helps the Palo Verde Nuclear Generating Station carry out safer and more efficient refueling and maintenance outages through its work on the plantas cooling towers.
