PREI®; names Michael Gallagher a portfolio manager for its global securities team

MADISON, N.J.--([ ])--Prudential Real Estate Investors has named Michael Gallagher an associate portfolio manager responsible for managing U.K. and European strategies as part of the companyas global real estate securities team. PREI is the real estate investment advisory and management business of Prudential Financial, Inc. (NYSE:PRU).

Gallagheras appointment is effective immediately. He will be based in PREIas London office.

aMikeas deep understanding of the U.K. and European markets, along with his experience in portfolio construction, will expand the opportunities for institutional and retail clients to diversify their portfolios and tap the potential for attractive risk-adjusted returns in a growing global public real estate market,a said Marc Halle, senior portfolio manager and head of PREIas team. The integrated team has portfolio managers in the U.S., Asia and Europe.

Before joining Prudential, Gallagher was an assistant fund manager at Aviva Investors, where he was part of a team managing global and European real estate investment trust funds for institutional and retail clients. He was directly responsible for portfolio construction and stock selection of European listed real estate funds and the European portion of global funds. Earlier, he covered real estate sectors and diversified financials as an equity analyst at Citigroup. He also worked as an equity analyst at Deutsche Bank.

Gallagher has a bacheloras degree in economics and government from Harvard University and a masteras degree in international political economy from Cornell University.
