Jefferies Appoints Gilles Pé;lisson to Its Global Senior Advisory Board

NEW YORK--([ ])--Jefferies today announced that Gilles Plisson has joined Jefferiesa Global Senior Advisory Board, becoming the seventh member of this distinguished group.

In a joint statement, Richard B. Handler, Chairman and Chief Executive Officer of Jefferies, and Brian P. Mr. Gilles C. Plisson is the former Chairman and CEO of Accor Group, the largest hotel group in Europe and the fourth largest hotel group in the world. Prior to Accor he spent three years as the CEO of Bouygues Telecom, the third largest French mobile operator, and previously five years as the CEO of Disneyland Paris Resort, the leading tourist destination in Europe. Mr. Plisson also holds positions on numerous Boards of Directors including: Accenture, a global management consulting, technology services and outsourcing company; Societe Bic S.A., a global leader in stationery products, lighters and shavers; Groupe TF1, a leading French broadcasting company; NH Hoteles, a leading hotel operator in Europe; and Lucien Barrire, a leading operator of gaming and hotel facilities in Europe. For the last six years, Mr. Plisson has also been a member of the Executive Board of MEDEF, the French Employeras Association and, since 2011 has served as Chairman of GPS, the French Employeras Association of the Services Industry. Mr. Plisson was awarded both the Lgion daHonneur and the Ordre National du Mrite, as a Chevalier, from the French Republic, one of the highest awards in France.

Mr. James D. Robinson III

Mr. James D.
