Tidewater Utilities, Inc. 3rd Annual Golf Tournament Aids Kylee McKenzie Gill Scholarship Fund

DOVER, DE--(Marketwire - February 28, 2011) - Tidewater Utilities, Inc. recently presented a check to the Kylee McKenzie Gill Scholarship Fund representing the proceeds of its 3^rd Annual Golf Tournament held at Heritage Shores Golf Course in Bridgeville, DE this past August. Kylee McKenzie Gill is the daughter of Kelly Arlene Tyrrell Gill, who served as a teacher and coach at Milford High School prior to losing a courageous battle with cancer in August 2009. Kelly left behind her husband Rob and an 18-month-old daughter, Kylee.

"I know Kelly would have been deeply moved by the generosity of Tidewater Utilities, Inc. and all who supported this event to help provide for our daughter Kylee's education," says Rob Gill, father of Kylee. "The proceeds of this event will help bring to life Kelly's last wish for her daughter, Kylee, to achieve a strong education," added Gill.

Major sponsors of the event included David G. Horsey & Sons and IG Burton Chrysler, Dodge & Jeep. Also helping to coordinate this effort were Reverend Earl Baker and the Avenue Methodist Church.
