MONTRÉAL, QUÉBEC--(Marketwire - Feb. 1, 2011) - Richard Lachance, Senior Vice President, Radio, Cogeco Diffusion Inc., introduced Cogeco Diffusion's new management team today with the following appointments:

Monique Lacharité, Vice President, Control, Administration and Human Resources.

André St-Amand, Vice President, Programming.

Jean-Luc Meilleur, Vice President, Regional Stations and General Manager of 105.7 Rythme FM.

Réal Germain, General Manager of 98.5, CKAC and Cogeco News.

Daniel Dubois, Vice President, Sales.

François Birtz, General Manager, Technology, IT and Operations.

These appointments were made following the closing earlier today of COGECO's transaction to purchase the Corus Québec radio stations. Cogeco Diffusion now owns thirteen (13) radio stations in Québec, making it one of the province's largest radio broadcasters.
