ATLANTA--([ BUSINESS WIRE ])--Patrick Driscoll, CPA, CPCU, has joined American Safety Insurance (NYSE:ASI) as Corporate Vice President of Marketing. Mr. Driscoll will be responsible for the continued development of ASIa�s brand identity and overseeing sales and marketing strategy.

Prior to joining ASI, Mr. Driscoll led sales and marketing divisions at two Fortune 500 insurance companies and two start-up ventures. He was responsible for significant growth and profitability at two organizations over the past 12 years and has extensive experience in programs and alternative market products. Most recently, Mr. Driscoll joins the Company from a sales and marketing distribution consulting assignment with CapGemini.
He has 30 years of experience in the insurance industry, including 18 years at Zurich, as Senior Vice President of Programs and Group Captives, a division which he built from $42 million to over $400 million in less than five years. Mr. Driscoll has also worked at Balboa Insurance Group, CNA and Arthur J. Gallagher & Co.
