TYSONS CORNER, Va.--([ BUSINESS WIRE ])--Cardinal Bank (NASDAQ: CFNL) announced today that William C. Oa™Connor has joined Cardinal Bank as Senior Vice President, Senior Credit Officer.

Oa™Connor has served in senior commercial lending and credit positions throughout the greater D.C. metro area over the last 28 years, at various regional financial institutions, most recently serving as Chief Credit Officer and Executive Vice President at a community bank headquartered in Northern Virginia; he was also Senior Vice President and Credit Officer at Provident Bank. A longtime resident of the area, Oa™Connor has been an active member of the Risk Management Association for 25 years. He is also active in Big Brothers/Big Sisters and served as President and Treasurer of a local chapter of Cars for Careers.

Oa™Connor is a graduate of the Stonier Graduate School of Banking, and holds a Bachelora™s Degree in Finance from Georgetown University, as well as an MBA in Finance from the University of Toledo.
