DENVER--([ BUSINESS WIRE ])--Apartment Investment and Management Company (aAimcoa) (NYSE:AIV) announced today that its Board of Directors declared dividends on shares of its Class T, U, V and Y Cumulative Preferred Stock. Dividend information is as follows:

Dividends on shares of Class T, U, V and Y Cumulative Preferred Stock are payable on October 15, 2010, to shareholders of record on October 1, 2010.

As announced on September 7, 2010, Aimco will redeem all outstanding shares of its Class G Cumulative Preferred Stock ("Class G") (NYSE: AIVPrG) on October 7, 2010, at a redemption price of $25.00 per share plus an amount equal to accumulated and unpaid dividends thereon to the redemption date of $0.5469 per share.
