Spectrum received a Notice of Allowance from the United States Patent and Trademark Office stating the Patent Examiner has examined and allowed for issuance as a patent the Companya™s proprietary Laser Guidance System for Diamond Wire Stone Cutting Apparatus. The technology involves an innovative stone cutting guidance system that can continuously detect the precision of cuts and modulate the cutting wirea™s feed rate to maximize performance and extend the working life of the cutting wire. Precision cutting of large stones is efficiently achieved using a continuous cable imbedded with diamond-impregnated beads.
The Laser Guidance System for Diamond Wire Stone Cutting Apparatus connects cutting wire speed control to a sensor that detects the straightness of the wire as it cuts into a stone.
