FORT WAYNE, IN--(Marketwire - June 1, 2010) - Freedom Financial Holdings, Inc. (PINKSHEETS: [ FDMF ]) Freedom Energy Holdings, CEO, Brian Kistler, announced today that he received the following email from "The Alternative Response Technology Team" considering all options to assist dealing with the major oil spill in the Gulf of Mexico.

Thank you for your submission to the Alternative Response Technology process for the Horizon Incident. This email is notifying you that your solution has been escalated for further technical review. Please see the attachment for a complete explanation of the ART process.

Thank you,
The Alternative Response Technology Team

The attachment referred to explained that out of the thousands of submissions, KC 9000® has been classified and escalated to stage 3 for technical review by BP Subject Matter Experts. It further went on to explain that should KC 9000® be considered "Feasible, Proven" or "Feasible Not Proven" it will be escalated to Stage 4 for final review and possible testing. The notice was signed by Michael J. Cortez, Technical Manager.

In a recent article written by MATT GUTMAN and JESSICA HOPPER it states that BP has set up a tip line center in Houston manned by 70 staffers. The public has flooded the center with 72,000 calls. BP has received another 20,000 ideas via e-mail. People sent in forms spelling out their ideas in greater detail and BP is taking a closer look at 700 of those suggestions. "The cost effective ease of application and the environmental friendliness of KC 9000® makes it a very viable option for the cleanup process of the shoreline and water vegetation being affected. While KC 9000® is not the total solution, it stands to be one of the most important steps in the process especially as more oil reaches the Gulf shoreline," stated Kistler.

"The oil spill is a bittersweet situation for Freedom. On one hand, this is a horrible situation that will be felt for many years, but on the other hand, I am very pleased that Freedom is in a position to be of assistance to those in need. Further information will soon be forthcoming," concluded Kistler.
