VANCOUVER, BRITISH COLUMBIA--(Marketwire - June 1, 2010) - Cream Minerals Ltd. (TSX VENTURE:CMA)(OTCBB:CRMXF)(FRANKFURT:DFL) ("Cream" or the "Company") is pleased to announce that its 100% owned subsidiary Cream Minerals De Mexico S.A. De C.V., has filed an application to denounce approximately 700 Hectares ("Ha") adjoining the Las Habas Project. The newly denounced land package is located to the West of, and adjoins the Las Habas Project. The denouncement will increase Cream's land holdings in the area to 1036 Ha (10.36 km2), subject to the issuance of title to the land.

From 1986 to 1993 Consejo De Recursos Minerales conducted a regional prospecting program including the Las Habas area discovering high grade Silver – Base metal quartz veins and Silver – Base metal bearing Skarn zones.

Ing. German Francisco, Cream Minerals De Mexico field geologist, conducted a property visit as well as a preliminary regional study. He confirms the presence of mineralized targets as reported in the Consejo Recursos Minerales Report and the possibility that the known vein structure trends from the recently optioned Las Habas Project onto the newly denounced land. His work also confirms the presence of two different types of mineralization at the Las Habas Project.

  1. Gold – Silver with base metal values localized within structural zones filled by quartz breccia veins as the N15W trending Las Habas vein structure, 2 metres to 3 metres wide; The N45W trending HCS vein zone, 2 metres to 4 metres wide; the N35W trending Tusierra zone, 8 metres to 10 metres wide. Other known quartz vein zones trend East – West and North – South. These quartz veins are reported to contain pockets of bonanza grade silver.
  2. Two North trending folded limestone units which are intruded by porphyritic andesite and granodiorite hosting skarn zones with associated gold, silver, lead, zinc and copper sulfides –the Las Habas Project Zone.
