MINNEAPOLIS--([ BUSINESS WIRE ])--The Xcel Energy Inc. (NYSE: XEL) board of directors today declared regular quarterly dividends on all series of outstanding preferred stock, which are payable on July 15, 2010, to shareholders of record on June 24, 2010.

The board also raised the quarterly dividend on the companya™s common stock from 24.50 cents per share to 25.25 cents per share, which is equivalent to an annual rate of $1.01 per share. The board declared the second quarter common stock dividend payable July 20, 2010, to shareholders of record on June 24, 2010.
