BIRMINGHAM, Ala.--([ BUSINESS WIRE ])--Energen Corporation (NYSE: EGN) today announced that it may be another 60-90 days before it has results of its Chattanooga shale well in Alabama. Work on the Cain 6-6 #1 in Tuscaloosa County has been delayed largely due to a previously disclosed casing leak. The 1,500-foot horizontal leg of the Cain 6-6 #1 well is at a vertical depth of approximately 7,800 feet.
