Amseco Exploration Appoints Jean Desmarais as President

MONTREAL, QUEBEC--(Marketwire - Dec. 8, 2009) - Amseco Exploration Ltd. (TSX VENTURE:AEL). On behalf of the Board of Directors of Amseco Exploration Ltd. Roger Bourgault announced today the appointment of Jean Desmarais as President. Mr. Desmarais will immediately assume the presidency where he will be responsible for corporation's future development, evaluation of its property portfolio and the development and execution of Amseco's growth strategy. One of Mr. Desmarais team's first task will be to identify properties and mining areas where Amseco will focus its current and future efforts.

Before joining Amseco Exploration, Mr. Desmarais acted as an Investment Advisor since 1997, initially at BMO Nesbitt Burns from 1997 to 2001 before becoming Vice President, Branch Manager and Investment Adviser at Desjardins Securities where he worked until August 2009. After studying business management at HEC with specialization in accounting, he passed the Brokerage Partner, Director and Officer license as well as Options Supervisor Branch Manager and Investment Advisor licenses. As part of his duties, he assisted several companies operating in various industries in obtaining financing and having their shares publicly traded.
