E1 Music: Dallas Hip Hop Artist Dorrough Up for 3 Nominations at This Year's BET Hip Hop Awards Including Rookie of the Year, B

NEW YORK, NY--(Marketwire - September 24, 2009) - Dallas hip hop artist Dorrough is nominated for Rookie of the Year, Best Hip Hop Video and Viewers' Choice Award for the video of his hit single "Ice Cream Paint Job." The BET Hip Hop Awards will tape on October 10th and will air on the BET network on October 27th.

The video for "Ice Cream Paint Job" was directed by Dr. Teeth. Voting for these nominations is now open for the final round!

The "Ice Cream Paint Job" digital single is now Gold having surpassed sales in excess of 500,000 units scanned. The Ringtone also remains a steady presence on Ringscan's Top 10 chart.

His new E1 Music album, "Dorrough Music," debuted at #1 on the Billboard Independent Chart and #3 on the Billboard Hip Hop Chart. "Dorrough Music" was released on Tuesday, August 4th.

Dorrough recently shot a video for "Wired To The T" which will be 3rd single off his debut album. The video reunites Dorrough with Director Dr. Teeth and will also feature Mike Epps.
