New World Resource Corp.: New World Increases Brokered Private Placement to $3.1 Million

VANCOUVER, BRITISH COLUMBIA--(Marketwire - Sept. 18, 2009) -

New World Resource Corp. (the "Company") (TSX VENTURE:NW) is pleased to announce that it has increased the size of its brokered private placement announced on September 1, 2009 to 11,481,482 units (the "Units") at a price of $0.27 per Unit, for gross proceeds of $3,100,000.14. Byron Capital Markets, a division of Byron Securities Ltd. and PowerOne Capital Markets Limited (together, the "Agents") are acting as agents for the private placement on a "best-efforts" basis.

The private placement is scheduled to close on or around September 22, 2009.

The proceeds of the offering will be used to advance the Company's current lithium initiative, finance expected expenditures on its properties and for general working capital purposes.

The financing is subject to standard closing conditions, including the Agents' satisfactory due diligence and regulatory approval.
