COLUMBUS, MS--(Marketwire - July 13, 2009) - The Affordable Homes Group's (TAHG) (PINKSHEETS: [ GRHI ]) proprietary [ Z-MIX building system ] is being considered for housing construction projects throughout the country of Pakistan. A U.S. finance investment initiative has allocated an approximate $500 million, so that the Government of Pakistan can construct low-moderate income homes, for their citizens, over the next several years.

Company officials have been in discussions with U.S. based representatives of Pakistan to determine the feasibility of locating Z-MIX production facilities in Pakistan. During the week of July 12th, 2009, product technicians will be visiting Pakistan, and efforts are underway to explore that country's natural resources and recycled products required to produce the composite Z-MIX building material. Sample product has been shipped for in-country examination and evaluation.

Analysts in both the U.S. and Pakistan believe the production of Z-MIX, with its ability to utilize shredded rubber tires, wood chips and other inert composite materials, will offer the government of Pakistan immediate low cost construction materials for much needed housing in both city and rural areas.

Pakistan has been beset by acute housing shortages due to the forced relocation of many citizens escaping tribal conflict into regions with limited housing stock and construction materials. Thousands of families have been forced to live in tents and other make shift homes that will not provide adequate shelter for the treacherous winter seasons.

Recently, officials for the United States and the [ United Nations (UN) ] received Z-MIX presentations in Denver, Los Angeles and Washington from Company management. The Affordable Homes Group representatives expect final contracts and production planning to commence in August 2009.
