 EDMONTON, July 17 /CNW/ - The Board of Directors for Capital Power Corporation (TSX: CPX) (Capital Power) declared a dividend of $0.315 per share on the outstanding common shares for the quarter ending September 30, 2009. This dividend declaration follows the completion of Capital Power's $500 million initial public offering on July 9, 2009. "The dividend reaffirms Management's and the Board's confidence in the cash flow and value of Capital Power. The dividend is payable on October 30, 2009 to shareholders of record at the close of business on September 30, 2009.
