 TORONTO, July 6 /CNW/ - Marret Asset Management Inc. announces that Marret High Yield Strategies Fund (TSX: MHY.UN) will pay its first distribution in the amount of $0.0983 per unit on or before August 17, 2009 to unitholders of record on July 31, 2009. This includes the regular monthly distribution of $0.0670 for July 2009 in addition to a partial distribution of $0.0313 for June 2009. Marret has determined that, given the short time period since the closing date of the Fund's initial public offering on June 17, 2009, it would be appropriate for the Fund's first distribution to reflect the period from June 17, 2009 to July 31, 2009.
