The Strasburg Creamery complex, a historic site in Lancaster County, has been acquired by new owners, Scott and Angie Rohrer, who plan to revive the landmark businesses within the property. The complex, which includes the Strasburg Creamery, the Strasburg Creamery Restaurant, and the Strasburg Creamery Ice Cream Shop, has been closed since 2019. The Rohrers intend to reopen the ice cream shop by Memorial Day 2023, followed by the restaurant in the fall of 2023. They aim to preserve the historical integrity of the buildings while modernizing the facilities to meet current standards. The couple, who have a background in real estate and hospitality, are committed to bringing back the community's beloved creamery and its associated businesses, ensuring they continue to be a cherished part of Strasburg's heritage.
